Job Description / Requirements
Analyse and provide detailed and precise functional specifications document for Last Mile Platform requirements and all other future IT products as the systems analysts and developers
Identifying options for potential solutions and assessing them for both technical and business suitability
Work closely with developers to ensure deliverables match accordingly to the functional specifications document in a fast pace manner
Able to work with Team Lead, Systems Analysts, Infrastructure Support, other IT Business Analysts, Software Developers and all related teams within the organisation in an efficient and effective manner
Manage / Coordinate with the Users, Systems Analysts, Vendors and Peers to implement resolutions for each request and issue
Perform related Project Manager Responsibilities especially on timeline and resource managemen
Formulate Test Cases and execute related Test Plans
Overseeing implementation of new change requests and new releases
Able to travel overseas to work when required
Undertake any other duties that may be assigned by the supervisors
Recognized Degree in Computer Science, IT or related disciplines
At least 5 years of relevant working experience in systems analysis, design, development, testing, implementation and post-implementation maintenance support;
Ability to write Last Mile Platform Requirements;
Prior Experience on integrating Last Mile Carriers and Courier Companies including but not limited to Track and Trace, Parcel Scanning, Manifest Handling, Customs Declaration, Online/Mobile Payments, Deliveries, Collection Points and related software applications;
In-depth knowledge on eCommerce Logistics – Last Mile Delivery Processes;
Experience in handling users, customers, peers and vendors across different geographical regions and industries;
Experience in managing multiple concurrent initiatives.
Knowledge on Java, MS .Net;
Knowledge on XML, JSON, Webhooks;
Knowledge on MySQL and any NoSQL;
Knowledge on Cloud Solutions and related services;
Knowledge on Web Services and experience in using them;
Hands-on experience on MS SQL Server 2016 and above;
Hands-on experience on MS VSS 2015 and above.
Proactive self-starter with an analytical and responsible mind;
Logical approach to problem solving;
Good interpersonal and client-handling skills with the ability to manage expectations and explain technical detail;
Ability to contribute to a team effort;
Ability to learn quickly;
Good oral and written communication skills;
