Job Description / Requirements
Analyse and develop Last Mile Platform and all other future IT products based on Technical Specifications
Develop required interfacing programs to integrate with both internal and external systems
Work closely with Systems Analysts to ensure deliverables match accordingly to the functional and technical specifications document in a fast pace and on-time manner
Able to work with Team Lead, Systems Analysts, Infrastructure Support, other Software Developers and all related teams within the organisation in an efficient and effective manner to implement resolutions for each request and issue
Optimise programming codes for Performance Tuning purpose
Execute Systems Unit Testing and Systems Integration Testing based on Test Cases
Investigate and resolve any system issue with Systems Analysts
Undertake any other duties that may be assigned by the supervisors
Recognized Degree in Computer Science, IT or related disciplines
At least 3 years of relevant working experience in development, testing, implementation and post-implementation maintenance support;
Mandatory Experience in the development of APIs and any other System Interfaces;
Essential Expertise in RESTful/SOAP APIs and familiar with XML, JSON and WebHooks;
Mandatory Experience with RDBMS, Cloud Solutions, RDS and preferably with experience or knowledge on NoSQL;
Preferably with prior experience on Track and Trace, Parcel Scanning, Manifest Handling, Customs Declaration, Online/Mobile Payments, Deliveries, Collection Points and related software applications;
Experience in managing multiple concurrent initiatives.
Hands-on experience in delivering software applications and APIs/Web Services developed in Java, MS .Net, XML, JSON, Webhooks or equivalent
Strong and hands-on experience on MSSQL, MySQL and preferably NoSQL;
Experience in implementing Cloud Solutions and related services;
Experience in implementing Windows and Open-source/Apache Applications;
Experience in designing and developing Android Mobile Applications.
