Job Description / Requirements
Analyse and provide detailed and full technical specifications document for Last Mile Platform requirements and all other future IT products as the basis for the development team to work on
Study, provide and document effective and efficient methods to integrate with both internal and external systems
Work closely with developers to ensure deliverables match accordingly to the functional and technical specifications document in a fast pace and on-time manner
Able to work with Team Lead, IT Business Analysts, Infrastructure Support, other Systems Analysts, Software Developers and all related teams within the organisation in an efficient and effective manner to implement resolutions for each request and issue
Deliver Unit Test Cases/SIT Cases and execute Systems Unit Testing and Systems Integration Testing
Develop critical modules of all related systems
Manage any ticket raised against any system issue
Investigate and resolve any system issue with Software Developers
Able to travel overseas to work when required
Undertake any other duties that may be assigned by the supervisors
Recognized Degree in Computer Science, IT or related disciplines
At least 4 years of relevant working experience in systems analysis, design, development, testing, implementation and post-implementation maintenance support;
Mandatory Experience in the development and documentation of APIs and any other System Interfaces;
Essential Expertise in RESTful/SOAP APIs and familiar with XML, JSON and WebHooks;
Mandatory Experience with batch and massive data interfaces via SFTP, Message Queue such as Kafka or equivalent;
Mandatory Experience with RDBMS, Cloud Solutions, RDS and preferably with experience or knowledge on NoSQL;
Prior Experience on integrating Last Mile Carriers and Courier Companies including but not limited to Track and Trace, Parcel Scanning, Manifest Handling, Customs Declaration, Online/Mobile Payments, Deliveries, Collection Points and related software applications;
In-depth knowledge on eCommerce Logistics – Last Mile Delivery Processes;
Experience in managing multiple concurrent initiatives.
Experience in delivering software applications and APIs/Web Services developed in Java, MS .Net, XML, JSON, Webhooks or equivalent
Strong and hands-on experience on MSSQL, MySQL and preferably NoSQL;
Strong foundation on System Performance Tuning including programming code optimisation and database design optimisation;
Experience in implementing Cloud Solutions and related services;
Experience in implementing Windows and Open-source/Apache Applications;
Experience in designing and developing Android Mobile Applications.

Good interpersonal and client-handling skills with the ability to manage expectations and explain technical detail;
Ability to contribute to a team effort;
